Central Green is conveniently located in the heart of Kelowna, just a few blocks from the city's downtown, signature waterfront, and Pandosy Village. This vibrant new community will transform the corner of Richter Street and Harvey Avenue into the most pedestrian and cyclist-friendly community the city has ever seen.
Due to the overwhelming success of CG Two and in preparation for URBANA, our final phase coming Jan 2018, our Discovery Centre and Display Home is temporarily closed.
City's Newest Park
Central Green is a unique community to Kelowna that perfectly combines the dynamics of urban, city-living with the warm feeling of living in an intimate neighbourhood. As part of the master-planned community, Central Green will be built around the City of Kelowna’s newly planned 5-acre, Rowcliffe Park. This park will encourage community engagement and provide homeowners and surrounding neighbours with immediate access to outdoor amenities. This artist's conceptual rendering should be used as a guideline only and in no way be seen as a
representation or assurance of the final park design.
Anticipated to start construction in 2017, this park has been carefully thought-out and designed to accommodate a wide variety of uses. Over 40% of the original Central Green site has been set aside to create the new Rowcliffe Park. To be developed by the City of Kelowna, the park is proposed to include a variety of amenities including:
• Large central area for informal games of soccer, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, football and picnicking
• Community gardens
• Children’s playground
• Water features
• Heritage tree preservation
• Small stage for performance events
• Perimeter walking/biking circuit
• Off-leash dog park
