Mission Group, the Okanagan’s leading real estate development and building company, is looking for a Membership Coordinator for its Aqua Marine Valet / Aqua Boat Club operations.

This is a full time, seasonal position (March to October) with the potential to develop into a full time, permanent position.   As a Membership Coordinator you are often the first contact for new and potential members.  You will be the definition of a quality customer service superstar while providing information, delivering services, and supporting operations with efficiency and courtesy.  This role involves steady interaction with others and has a direct impact on creating an outstanding membership experience.


• Receive and respond to inquiries from members, the public and team members

• Explain the Aqua Boat Club (ABC) experience to prospects in order to ultimately convert them to members

• Help manage the ABC reservation system

• Assist in promoting and selling ABC memberships

• Familiarize new members with the yard, the processes and the Master Agreements

• Assist the Director with training and hiring of seasonal staff and scheduling shifts

• Coordinator and follow-up on subcontract work

• Assist with promotions and marketing campaigns/strategies to attract new members and retain existing members

• Create and distribute newsletters, promotions and updates, and coordinate events


• Completion of Grade 12 and familiarity with general office practices or completion of a relevant certificate program

• At least 6 months experience in an office, customer service or sales role

• Great sales, communication and customer service skills

• Proficiency with email and basic computer programs

• Able to quickly and positively establish rapport with members and contribute to an outstanding membership experience

• Able to speak clearly and professionally

• A flexible schedule (shifts will include some weekends)

• General boating knowledge and customer service training would be an asset
