Mission Group is looking for a Senior PropTech Systems Manager to join a team of talented IT professionals. Reporting to the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO), the ideal candidate will be an experienced technology professional with extensive network infrastructure and property technology expertise. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing enterprise-level networks, particularly Cisco and Meraki systems, along with demonstrated success in SaaS platform administration and cybersecurity implementation. Strong technical and managerial skills in multi-tier support environments, vendor management, and construction technology integration are essential. This position is a strategic technical leadership role and is responsible for overseeing and managing all property technology systems and network infrastructure across our growing rental property portfolio.
This position is based out of Mission Group’s head office in downtown Kelowna, BC. The salary range for this position is $90,000 – $130,000 plus a robust total compensation package. Salary is determined based on the individuals’ skills and experience.
What you’ll do:
Network Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco and Meraki network infrastructure across multiple properties.
- Ensure high availability and performance of all network systems.
- Monitor and optimize network security and connectivity.
- Establish and maintain site-to-site VPN connections.
- Implement and manage wireless solutions for tenant connectivity.
Technical Support Leadership
- Manage multi-tier technical support (Tier 1-3) for both internal staff and tenants.
- Develop and maintain support procedures and documentation.
- Provide escalation support for complex technical issues.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
Systems Administration
- Administer and maintain SaaS platforms including Yardi Property Management System, SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Manage user access, security protocols, and system integrations.
- Ensure system availability and performance optimization.
Security and Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity practices and protocols.
- Manage security systems including access control and surveillance.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
Construction Technology
- Coordinate technology infrastructure setup for new construction sites.
- Manage vendor relationships and technology implementations.
- Ensure seamless integration of new properties into existing systems.
What you’ll have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network administration and systems management.
- Relevant technical certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, Security).
- Experience in property technology or the real estate industry is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco and Meraki networking technologies.
- Proven experience with Windows and Mac environments.
- Strong background in cybersecurity practices.
- Experience with property management software platforms.
- Understanding of construction industry technology needs.
- Forward-thinking approach to technology solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong vendor management experience.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
