KELOWNA, British Columbia — Alma on Abbott, an 87-unit boutique condo development in the Okanagan’s largest city, is destined to be the next desirable address in the “Kitsilano” of Kelowna.
“That’s how we describe the project to our Vancouver buyers,” says Luke Turri, executive vice-president of Mission Group, developer of Alma in Kelowna’s Pandosy Village district.
The six-storey building at the corner of Abbott St. and Cedar Ave. faces the new Pandosy Waterfront Park on Okanagan Lake with the urban village convenience of Pandosy St. just a few blocks east.
“Abbott Street is an exclusive address in Kelowna. It’s typically been a neighbourhood of single-family homes. What Alma brings is the opportunity to be an owner in this prestigious neighbourhood and have that lock-and-leave lifestyle,” he says.
Sales of the studio, one-, two-, two-plus den and three-bedroom units in the building launched Oct. 14 with prices ranging from the mid-$300,000s for studio suites to $1.3 million for one-level townhomes. Floorplans offer 316 square feet to 1,246 square feet of interior space with as much as 200 square feet of outdoor space.
